Who runs this site
This site is run by Dr Badrulhisham Bahadzor in his personal capacity. The contact point for data matters is the enquiry form on this site.
What data the site collects
The site is a static, read-only library of articles. It does not ask you to create an account. It does not track you with a user-level cookie.
The site uses basic server logs (IP address and user agent) to keep the site safe. Those logs are kept for a short time and then deleted.
If you choose to send a message through the enquiry form, the form collects your name, your email, and the text you write. Those fields are sent to the site owner by email.
Why the data is collected
The logs exist to spot abuse and to keep the site up. They are not used to build a profile of you.
The form data exists so the site owner can reply to you. It is not used for marketing and is not sold or shared.
How long the data is kept
Server logs are kept for no more than 90 days. Enquiry emails are kept while they are needed to reply to you, and then archived or deleted.
Your rights
You may ask to see your data, correct it, or delete it. You may also ask for details of any sharing.
To do so, contact the site owner through the enquiry form. A reply will be sent within the time set by the law.
Legal basis
This notice follows the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Act 709), as amended by the Personal Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2024. The site owner is the data user for the data covered here.
